Post: New Real Estate Investor in Upstate NY

Hello everyone, I hope you're all in good health and high spirits. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the BP community and share a bit about my background and real estate aspirations.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, spent several years in Vermont, and currently live in Upstate New York about 20 minutes from Albany. I've owned several businesses in my life...from an ice cream shop, to a flooring company, to a private gym. My W2 profession is in cybersecurity, and after much consideration I've decided to start real estate investing with a starting focus on wholesaling to learn the industry firsthand and fund transitioning into buying a triplex via FHA loan, living in one unit and renting out the others, then scale from there.

I'd like to know what kind of houses each buyer is looking for, what their formula is so I can accurately cultivate deals, how many deals they're looking to do a year, and what constraints they have.

I strongly believe in the power of networking and community support. So, I'm reaching out with a willingness to learn and grow together. If you're an experienced investor or starting out like me, let's connect, share knowledge and help each other succeed.

Lastly, I want to extend an invitation to reach out to me for anything at all...even if it's just for some fitness or tech advice. We're all on this journey together, both in business and in life...I'm happy to be of value where I can.

Thanks!
