@Account Closed I'm looking into Westchester to do some house-hacking, but I want to grow my portfolio in the Bronx. I like Yonkers, I spend a lot of time with the family on Central avenue (I love the Alamo draft house) and my god mother owns a condo out there. I'm looking to buy a duplex or a triplex in Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Harrison, Rye, or New Rochelle. I would love to come out to the meet up on October 5th. 

I'm also looking to invest around this area. My plan is to buy a duplex which I could move into and stay for at max 5 years. During those five years I will be expanding my portfolio in the Bronx and growing my HVAC-R business in the Bronx, Westchester, and CT. My areas of interest right now is Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Harrison, Rye, and New Rochelle. I'm giving myself about 9 months to get into a new home in one of these neighborhoods.   

Hello BP community! Am I happy I found you. My name Luis Hurtado, I'm a 32 year old Sheet Metal Worker, and I'm ready to take the big leap into Real Estate investing. I've realize in the past couple of years that it's going to take more than our two incomes to reach the goals my wife and I have set for our family. Therefore, I've decided to start a business, and I figured, why not kill two birds with one stone, buy a two family home for our family as a Real Estate Investor. I don't want to stop there, I want to continue buying duplexes, triplexes, and quads (Oh my!) until I generate enough income to sustain my family, make bigger investments (Bigger properties, Businesses, etc)  and to show my family, friends, and peers that this is possible. I'm done with the rat race and I ready to play, nah, win the game!
