There is a Rockford Real Estate Investors Association that has helped me reach my goals. They have meetings the 2nd Monday of the month.Meetings are $20 a visit or $199.00 a year.  Reach out to them on FB and they can give you more info. Come as a visitor for the first meeting. You're right the market in Florida is crazy right now,you need a good realtor to help you with the areas.My family has been heading down to that area the past 10 years we have stayed from Fort Meyers up to Clearwater. We purchased a SF investment property in Parrish,Fla in 2016.We had a great realtor and friend  Sarah 941-725-1433 help us. There are many areas that you should stay away from. Good luck to you and wife we love the area down there and hope to move ourselves in the near future.

I am looking to connect with investors in the northwest suburbs of Chicago investing in storage units. I am currently investing in buy and hold single family and duplexes. Wanting to learn more about storage to see if that is the way i would like to turn my vision. 

I rent out a upper unit condo The downstair neighbor is aggravating my tenant and myself.My tenant is moving out because of her I have had the police involved and don't know what else to do the association has been involved to and they informed me that her place is in forclosure so I realize why she is bitter.She also is mad at me because of some water damage that happened water heater leaked in her condo a couple years ago.I was going to fix the damage to her unit (ceiling,drywall and paint)3x3 area then she came to me with a $2600 bill for a new furnace I told her I will hand this over to my insurance and long story short the bylaws for the condo say i'm not liable so you could imagine how this all has come about.Ihave tried reasoning with her but its to the point now were I just don't want her talking to me or my tenants.Any help would be appreciated.

Hello bp I have been on the site for about a year I am wondering if there is a meet group in my area Rockford,illinois.I am a landlord now of one condo and I would like to flip a house in the near future.
