To all the BP rental pros in the Syracuse area, is the eviction process as long as it is in NYC?

I'm looking to purchase my first rental property in Syracuse and would like more information on the eviction process. The property I'm interested in have a tenant, so I would like feedback before I make the offer. Thanks in advance for any advice given.

Any thoughts on purchasing Condos as rental properties for a new investor? The pros and cons, please.

This is what I meant when I said "Scared to death", but I'm very grateful for the BiggerPockets forums. Thanks for all the knowledge.

Thanks everyone.

Hello BP Community, my name is Lolita Rogers. I am located in the NYC area. I'm very very interested in real estate and ready to take the next step, which is becoming an investor but honestly speaking is scared to death. I joined BP to learn from experienced investors and hopefully get over that fear. I am committed to purchasing my first multiplex within the next six months, so I'm open to any advise.

As I said, I'm scared to death, nervous and excited all in one so please help this newbie!!!!!!
