Welcome! I am a newbie from Cincinnati as well. I am meeting with a few brokers this week to discuss becoming an agent (again). I am choosing to be an agent as an additional stream of income and to make contacts in the industry. Even if the brokers don't formally offer a "sponsorship" program, I plan to propose a mutually beneficial situation. They can't say "yes" if I never ask!

Paul, thank you for all this great advice! I started reading the Ultimate Beginner's Guide and listening to the podcasts last night, and began searching for REIA clubs this morning. I will check out the other books you suggested as well.

Hello all!

My name is LaTisha Crawford. I am new to real estate investing-- just in the beginning, learning stages. My brother and I are partnering together in this business. Our goal is to do fix and flips and hold multi-family units. Ultimately, we want to create a legacy for our family. I ran across Bigger Pockets while researching a real estate term I was unfamiliar with. I am glad that I found BP because the community seems to be very supportive!

I am looking forward to meeting and collaborating with like-minded, motivated real estate investors.
