I'm looking to buy my first property that will also be my first rental in Benfield around La Salle college. Interested in opinions of this area's:

- Rental return

- Safety

- Rentability

An other insight to this area.

@Account Closed- maybe you can weigh in on that. I've browsed the web, but haven't found anything on a .gov site confirming grants. Any clue if first time buyer grant(s) actually exist?

Hello! My name is Liz and I'm interested in purchasing my first home (ever) in Philadelphia. I've been looking in South Philly area and Kensington.

I'm interested in knowing how to go about buying my first home without a down payment. I'm 24 and by no means have enough saved for upfront costs.

I work full time as a professional staff member at a university in Philly and with the growth of my career in higher education I'd also like to start growing my real estate portfolio. My over arching goal is to own 3 properties in Philly by age 35.

Any suggestions on how to go about purchasing my first 2 bedroom without down payment are greatly appreciated!
