How happy are you a year later?

Looking for recent feedback from other investors who have used this company.  I can't find any other online reviews other than those from about a year ago here on BP.

@Jessica Desai Tahoe prices have shot up recently. South Lake in the County is probably your best bet. Or if in the city limits make sure it is in the area zoned for “vacation homes”. You will be hard pressed to find a 3/2 in Tahoe for that price, if you do please let me know! Best of luck!

@Dustin Allen. Yes. We are in the county, thank goodness. Off of Pioneer Trail.

Thank you. We may take you up on that offer in a bit. We were looking at the Nevada side, but multiple offers on overpriced properties were a bit much.

We are waiting a month or so until we see how bad the economy gets here:).

How do I use the Marketplace? Is that park of the Pro package? When I Google it, it want me to put in a password.

Hello from Southern Oregon!

My husband and I are small business owners. We have a few properties as well. We are eager to learn more about real estate and connect with other locals.

We are also interested in investing in Nevada and possibly Idaho.

The rental laws in Oregon are not Landlord friendly and we would live to talk to other landlords in our area, Nevada and Idaho.

We own a vacation rental in South Lake Tahoe, a duplex in Grants Pass and a commercial building in Medford.

Any connections would be great. I do a lot of Zoom in my business, so I am happy to connect online as well.

Is there still a Southern Oregon REIA?

Is it worth a refi?  If you keep it for a few years it might pencil out with the new rates.

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in South Lake Tahoe.

Purchase price: $325,000
Cash invested: $180,000

This was an emotional buy. I inherited money from my mother and I love my little house. We had it on AirBnb, but it is off the market right now. We paid it off in August.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Always wanted a home in Tahoe and I new we could AirBnB it.

What was the outcome?

We ended up remodeling the bathroom, putting in new carpet, panting, new deck, new stove and decorating. It does pretty well as a short term rental (outside of Covid)

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Yes. A real Estate Agent I found on Dave Ramsey website.
