I am also in MI and have seen some opportunities in Kzoo, but not SFH with rent that high. Do you mind if I ask how you found it - was it off market? And what neighborhood is it in?

@Sam Amin thanks for sharing another local story - congrats that it ended well, but sounds like a lot of challenges along the way. Glad you have a solid team to overcome the hurdles!

I am new to REI, but very motivated and eager to learn and network as much as possible! My goal is generating cash flow via MI investments, likely buy and hold SFH or MFH. The biggest challenge I am experiencing is finding deals with enough cash flow - seller's market.

I am open to any help...

Caleb, I see that you are in Michigan, like me. Assuming this apartment is in MI, congrats on finding a great deal. I recently joined BP and posted to ask if Michiganders actually invest locally, so it is very encouraging to read your success story!
