How much extra do you charge?

As of right now we do not allow pets in our Short Term Vacation Rentals. I tried letting pets come and have pee stains on the rugs, so I stopped allowing them

I have replaced the floors in 3 of my Short Term Rental homes to waterproof vinyl planking, so I am now considering allowing them again.

Please help me decide Pets or No Pets- Tell me some of your findings with pets.

How much extra do you charge per pet? Do you have them sign an agreement? If so tell me about it.

Thanks

Another way to save money on your monthly payment is to put 20% down so you don't have to pay PMI which can save you thousands over the life of the loan.

John, have you tried this? Many of the homeowners here live far away so they do not even rent out their homes.

I am in the process of buying 6 more homes, but I know there are people around here self managing.

We live on a world famous fishing lake, there are no hotels or Property mgt companies. I own 4 cabins that are totally booked all the time. I just opened an office inside of my real estate office to do property management. How did you get homeowners to list their second home with you to rent out? Do you have any social media ads that worked? All we keep getting is more renters, we need homes bad!

Thank you both for your input. There is an HOA here that was challenged and the outcome was no sign is allowed in yard. I am a real estate broker and we have just started this company inside of our office.

Goodmorning. Can an HOA stop you from renting out your home short term? I am opening a new vacation rental management company and have a lot of homes interested in our program but they are stating that their HOA does not allow it. I heard through the grapevine that this is not allowed but looking for more insite. Thanks y'all

I am a Licensed Real Estate Broker and will run this company out of our office but from my research you do not need to be licensed for STR's in Texas.

I am a Licensed Broker in the Lake Fork area and I own a few small rentals. 2 months ago I started doing STR and now make 4 times what I used to renting long term, and I am always full. I have decided to open a Vacation Rental Management Company with my son in this office. If you are looking to invest I have some great opportunities, and we will manage it for you. Or maybe you own a home here and need someone to manage it for you. I have about 20 people on a waiting list for just this weekend alone. Reach out to me and lets help each other.
