I am considering my first investment with Smartland as well. I had a call yesterday with a rep that made me feel confident, but not quite ready to pull the trigger just yet until getting more verified reviews of their track record of returns and service. Any feedback here would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks Joe! I appreciate it! I'll take a look at those areas.

Can anyone provide insight into the Northern Liberties/Fishtown rental market in Philadelphia? I'm thinking of buying a condo and wanted to get a better idea of the opportunities there. Thanks!

No, @Joe Bruck I haven't looked in JC. I was under the impression that wasn't even a possibility. It sounds like that is not the case?

Thanks @Adam Cherko  I appreciate it. In doing more research I have arrived at actually a new question, which is, how to identify the next affordable rising NYC commuter location. I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to ask this. :) How far would I have to go outside of NYC to hit a location with single family units at ~$100K? Does that even exist? Still learning...Thanks

I am a complete newbie to REI and still in the exploratory phase. I live in NYC and would like to invest in affordable areas with commuter access to the city. Yonkers appears to be on the rise as an attractive place to live and offers several multi family unit properties. Does anyone have any experience you can share in Yonkers or surrounding areas? Much appreciated!
