Is there anyone in the Seattle area willing to let me know how much I should be asking for a property I own? 🙏🙏🙏

I have asked this question before, but everyone who got a hold of me was more interested in seeing how low I would go… That is not helpful.  Obviously, I want as much for it as possible :)

I just really need someone’s expertise to inform me if I am asking enough.

Thank you in advance If you are willing to give me a little bit of your time!

I might be wrong about no leach field.
Thank you David. I’m going to say no on the 20k, lol.

Have a nice evening :)

@Theresa Harris

I did get a quote of $2000 just for removing the septic tank. I’m just not sure how much it will cost to hook up to the city. I guess I will have to wait till they open next week :)

Thank you, Theresa! Have a nice evening

@Bruce Woodruff

Hello Bruce, thank you so much for your reply. I don’t believe there is a leach field.  do you happen to know how much it should cost without having a field?

Thank you :)

Post: Required to keep septic tank in ground?

Hello again – Does anyone know if we are required to keep our unused, decommissioned septic tank in the ground instead of having it removed? I am selling a property where the buyer is putting a home on it and wants to remove it.   I was told by a company that in Washington state, we are required to decommission them, break the lid, fill them up with gravel and keep them on the property, although they did recommend not putting a house directly on top of it…

Does anyone have any experience with this?
or possibly could anyone tell me what they paid to connect to their city sewer?

Thank you again so much!!
Happy Friday!!

Hello and good day! Is there anyone out there who might be able to give me a rough estimate of what it may cost to have a septic tank removed from a property? The property is in Snohomish county. After it is removed, they will be hooking up to the city sewer also. They are going to be putting a townhome on the property so they will not be wanting to leave the septic tank in the ground…
I am selling the property and the buyer wants to pay 20,000 less to have this done. That seems a bit high to me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you :)

Wayne, I’m not sure if this message will go directly to you again or not. I have another question though if you don’t mind. The property was given to me by my father. What if he does not remember what he paid for the property? The county assessors office does not go back that far, as far as I can tell on their website…
Thank you again Wayne!
