Not even sure such an option is available/ wise but was just wondering & if so, how does it work with a short term loan, Is the interest usually much higher?

Hello....I'm a widow, who was able to buy an auction property with cash in the Bay Area a few yrs ago. Interested in buying a bigger home now but don't have enough liquid cash. If I were to win the bid I'd sell our current home to pay off any Money loaned. Where can I find legitimate private investors ? Also, typically how long are the loans and what interest rate would be typical.? Thanks for any Help/Advice.
