Hi all!

I just recently learned what heloc and home equity loan are, and realize we have built up some equity on our primary home.

Is there any advice you could share on how we can safely use the equity on rental investment? What should we look out for and be careful about? Is it a good idea to take out the loan and pay the down payment on a rental property? I’m not looking to fix houses so I’m thinking about taking home equity loan.

Thank you!

Hi all,

I got pre approval letter from my lender under my name. But now I’m trying to set up a Llc and would like to apply for mortgage with the Llc.

my questions are : what type of mortgage can I apply for with Llc, is it generally higher rate? How difficult is it to apply for mortgage with Llc?

Thank you so much!

Quote from @Michael King:

I have a killer agent in STL. Robert Kleinlehrer with West End Management. He manages my properties and he has done a stellar job negotiating the sale of my home and 4 plex there. I'd include his phone number but last time I did I got my hand spanked.

what's his name? I would like to google him and reach out :)

@Lily You have you given the Agent Finder a try?

Good idea! I will try it now thanks!

Hi, I’m looking for real estate agent to connect to get familiar with the area. I’m looking at Cleveland height at the moment, and would like to know more about it and maybe other areas too!

Thanks!

Hello everyone,

We live in WA and are looking to invest our first rental property. We have 30k we can invest, right now we are looking at Houston and Cleveland, here is what we found and are asking for some advice or ideas on which would be a better investment for us

Cleveland

Pros: cheaper, cash flow is higher

Cons: most of the houses we looked at seem pretty damaged and old, may need a lot of fixes, less popular, less appreciation

Houston

Pros: populated, more jobs, (easier to find tenants?), more appreciation

Cons: more expensive, cash flow is lower

Thank you so much!
