@Dmitriy Fomichenko

Thank you Dimitry, happy to be here!

@David Kelly

Thank you David, very blessed to say COVID did not affect our income. Both of our credit scores are in great shape (<800). Income has been increasing and consistent. I've worked hard to pay off our monthly liabilities. I'm credit-card debt free. Thank goodness.

I have questions on lending, especially competing in such an active market. Currently there are so many cash buyers, how can one compete?

@Yosef Lee

Congrats on your first deal, so inspiring to a newbie like myself. Stuck in the self education phase, I need to take action! Thanks for sharing!

@Joel Calkins

Thank you for the advice. I am certainly in sponge mode and soaking in as much knowledge as I can. Currently working on the analysis side, figuring out the market I want to focus on. You are right, with the firehose analogy.... It can be a bit daunting, but I'm up for the challenge!

Hi BP community.

My husband and I are starting off our REI journey and looking to connect with the people in this awesome community for wisdom and advice.

The short-term plan is to purchase a home to fix and flip. I am trying to learn as much as I can but I know ultimately the best way to learn is to actually go through the process. The rehabbing piece isn't what a stopping us. I think once we get there we're good, the beginning process is what I need help with, finding the right home, lining up funding and the due diligence process. I look forward to building connections to help me through this journey.

Thank you,

Leticia

Also interested, chiming in to join you all if possible! Newbie here looking to learn and grow.
