Hey everyone, first time lurking through this website. Think it's super awesome that there's so many resources here and looking forward to networking and meeting like-minded folks. I've recently learnt about the FIRE movement and I'm aggressively starting my journey on this path.


Been thinking a lot about real estate investing lately, but the real estate market in the Bay Area is too expensive. How should one go about starting their journey in real estate investing? I'm thinking of investing out of state, but also heard a lot of horror stories related to it. Interested to learn about others' experience with OOS real estate investing.
