Looking for a general sales course. I believe that skill translates to many areas.

Hi,

I would like to take a course to learn how to sell. Does anyone have a recommendation for the West Los Angeles area?

Thanks!

Thanks for the welcomes Mary Kay, Eric, and Ali. There's so much great material to soak up on the site and the podcasts. I'm really looking forward to digging in.

I've always been interested in real estate. I grew up helping out my parents with houses they would buy and fix up in my hometown of Bellingham, Washington. My sisters and I were the free labor; painting and helping out with the renovations. My grandma also had several rental properties around town. It's been in the back of my mind that this was a field I would enjoy and wanted to get involved in, but it seems I was always waiting for something to make that happen.

I'm realizing that the time to start is now. I just discovered the Bigger Pockets web site and I'm devouring the archived podcasts. I'd been exposed to Robert Kiyosaki in the past, but now I'm reading him in ernest. I'm interested in developing a mutually beneficial relationship with a mentor that can help me uncover my strengths and find the area of REI that I'm best suited to.

I feel like I'm beginning on the next exciting chapter of my life. I've always known I wanted to be one of the people that work smarter, not harder, but I didn't know how to achieve that practically. The answers seem to be opening up to me as I listen to all this great new material.

Looking forward to meeting new colleagues and friends,
