Thank you @Kerry Baird for the advice on local banks / credit unions for HELOC's on investment properties! I'd have to ask if they lend out of state which may be a challenge going locally...

Hi @Erik Estrada

I've looked into LD's loan terms and they did not stipulate a max CLTV for this product. I'd be interested in learning more about any lenders in this space who have competitive rates and terms!

Hello everybody,

Just curious if anyone here has worked with Loan Depot before and if they would recommend working with them? I am looking for an investment property HELOC and I understand that they offer this product. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Lee

Nice post and I agree with your pointers on how to succeed as an out-of-state investor!  I would also recommend reading books on long-distance investing to help aid in building your team and system which is vital to anyone in this business!  Just curious what market are you investing in?  I invest in the NE Ohio area.

I spoke to them before and did not have a very favorable experience.  Very pompous and lacks professionalism - avoid unless you are looking for a migraine!
