You're welcome for the reply. This week is all the background "why" (like what risks you trying to protect yourself from and what they look like) plus the specific asset protection strategy and tactics. Next week is all the sample paperwork and how that all works. Here's the link to RSVP for this week (next week is on the website as well):

Thanks.

Thanks for the post @Ian I Leinwand.

We do about 50 different classes per year and try to record each of them (technology willing) and make *MOST* of them available via the podcast and videos on my website. Anyone can RSVP and attend the classes. There are about 100+ of the recordings of previous classes posted.

However, there are a handful of classes (like 3 or 4) that we do NOT post the recordings of publicly and are only available to clients that have bought or sold a home with me as their real estate broker. The two asset protection classes are ones where the recording is only available to clients. Another one where the recording is not posted publicly that I can think of is the one where we go over the $6,000 lease I give to clients as well for free as well.

So, do whatever you can to make this particular class this week which is part 1 of 2 and next week's part 2 of 2 of the asset protection series. This week is all the strategy and tactics and why. Next week is all the actual paperwork.

So, it is important to come to both because we won't be going over the paperwork this week and we won't be reteaching the setup and why next week.

Hope to see you at the class or a future one.

Here are the number of fix and flips in NoCo cities where the spread between purchase and sale is at least $30,000 (not including expenses).

On the Nomad Real Estate Investing Podcast we cover a variety of real estate and investing topics.

This next episode focuses on how to evaluate a multi-family property when investing in real estate. If you can buy a single family property why not add a zero on the end of the price AND the profit and buy a multi-family property?

You can catch Deal Analysis 301: Multi-Family by clicking on the link, searching for us on iTunes, or by going to our website to learn how to analyze a multi-family property deal.

Prices for duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes in Fort Collins has run up quite a bit in the last few years and there are not a lot of them that hit the market (so you may need to be aggressive to get them when they do). I have had some clients buy multi-family to live in with FHA and VA loans. I have more clients that would if we found the right one. Finding the right one has been the challenge for most of my folks.
