Hello – my name is Lea and I am beginning my RE investor journey. A mentor and friend recommended this platform. I currently work a W2 job overseeing a hospitality operation. I am a hustler, work hard, have common sense, and am self-motivated. I am a sponge and absorb knowledge from those around me. I have a husband and a 2 yr old.
On the side, I am focused on investing in small multifamily units in the surrounding CHS areas (CHS County, Dorchester County, Berkley County), eventually going all in and building a portfolio to achieve financial freedom (owning apartments, commercial buildings, 60+ doors in 5 years). May obtain RE license just for further knowledge and pure curiosity.
Criteria – Looking For:
- -Small Multi-Family 2-4+ units
- -BRRRR Strategy
- -Off Market - owner that doesn’t care about the multiunit, needs work, wants to sell, rough condition, something I can fix up and keep as a rental
- -I have started on my second round of mailers for marketing to off market areas
Financing:
- -$165K HELOC ready to go
- -HARD money lender options if/when needed
- -$30k-$50k cash
Networking & Needs:
- -I am looking for local groups and meet ups to attend here in CHS.
- -I am looking to be surrounded by like-minded individuals and investors I can learn from.
- -I am looking to learn from seasoned investors, potentially offering time in exchange for learning
- -I have a list of handy men and subs, but would love to meet more
