@Mike M. Yes it is bank owned I wasn’t sure if it would be a good idea to try and get some insight on the property condition when they left. I agree with you that it’s best to let them move on. Thanks for the advise.

@Mike M.

I am sorry maybe I didn’t point the facts out straight. The property is being sold on auction.com by the bank and I happened to see the fsbo sign laying behind the garage with a bunch of other garbage.

That is why I said previous owner and wondered if I should try the number or not.

@Mike M.

Thank you. Any suggestions on how to open the conversation with the previous owner of the number works?

I am looking at a property that is going up for auction today on auction.com.

I have been by the property and see a lot of potential in it. I have many questions because it has been vacant for a year according to the neighbor.

But my main question is,

When I went by the property and looked around I saw a fsbo sign with a phone number on it. I am sure it was from before the foreclosure.

Would you call the number to see if it works and ask about the property when they owned it or not?

This would be my 1st deal. So any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

@JD Randall “Wow!” Is an understatement. I can only wish I would have been thinking what you are at that age. I can not give you advise because I am just starting to learn this myself. I can say that I wish you the best of luck and I have a feeling that we will be hearing a lot about JD Randall and all that he has accomplished in the future. Good Luck young man!!!
