Welcome, Lawrence.

Why did you pick Tampa? I grew up in South Fl but have lived in the western part of the country for several decades but I've had a couple of SFH rentals in Lake county. I'm planning to start investing in Fl RE again this coming year.

I picked Tampa because it seems like a great place for the BRRRR investment model and I have a friend in the area who is also interested in getting into the business. This area seems to have many cheap properties and a decent demand for rentals.

It would be great if you can share some tips about managing properties remotely and if you can refer some local businesses (agents/contractors/property managers) to me!

Hi,

I am a new investor looking to explore in the Tampa Bay area. I am interested in properties around 100k-200k that I can renovate and rent out. I would like to reach out to the BP community and network with realtors and property managers. I look forward to hearing from you all!

Regards,
Lawrence

Our short term goal is to accumulate assets through leverage and build local connections. Then balance between growing and paying off debt. Long term goal is to earn enough passive income for early retirement.

@Rudy Planter We came up with that date just to set an internal deadline/goal for ourselves and a realistic timeline for us to interview property managers, network with local businesses and research the area.

Hello, I am a new investor looking for a market to enter. I am currently focusing my research in Florida and the North Carolina research triangle but open to other opportunities as well. I picked these 2 areas because it seems there are more properties that can cashflow and they have good potential for growth.

I have been browsing BP and other websites for the past few months and learning as much as I can about real estate investment. I plan on buying my first rental property by end of Q1 next year.

I am currently sharing the work and research with a few friends who are also looking to invest. I want to reach out to the BP community and network with realtors/property managers and other experienced remote investors!
