Darren...Are you trying to borrow or invest? 

Have you looked outside of the USA? I've invested over in Europe in some crowd funding real estate projects (particularly UK where crowd-funding is a widely accepted alternative financing method) . Some of the sites do allow overseas investors. You'll just have to research. I skipped all of that by opening a bank account overseas as I hae family in Europe.
