@Brandon Marin I am looking for an RE agent in the Greenville area as well familiar with Multi-family 5+ units - can you recommend anyone?

Thanks @Justin Pillion - That seems to be the consensus about Naperville so I'm planning on looking in the Joliet/Romeoville/Lockport area for some SFH and perhaps a few multi-family if I can find them. Do you buy homes site unseen?

Thanks everyone, I didn't realize that the multifamily weren't too good of investments in the Naperville area. I'm not opposed to going to Aurora/Joliet so I'll have to check that out.

Hey @Mark Ainley, thanks for the tip!

I'm looking at multi-units in the suburbs - I know the Western Suburbs the best so am more apt to stick around here!

Hey all! I'm new to the forum - live in a suburb of Chicago.

I'm looking to get into investing, but wanted advice.

I've heard from others that now is a bad time to start investing, and most investors are selling off their inventory as we are going into a buyers market.

Thoughts? Input?
