Awesome story!!! Love the idea to rent out rooms while still residing in the home... I'm looking to go this route. Keep it up

This definitely  makes a lot of sense. If it is treated like a car, I would think I would need to actually purchase it myself and then sell to buyer.... She is asking for 12,000. Don't have that sitting around.  The problem with this MH is that it needs to be moved off the land it resided on. So I know this would be an additional hefty fee. Just wish there was a way to do this without coming out of pocket too much.

The owner is someone I ran across at Walmart in Mooresville N.C. I will get more info on the house once i give her a call and get back to you. But I do know she just brought a house and was living in this mobile home. Should be good condition. I will find out more.

MH's are regulated by the California Department of Housing and Community Development. So the first thing I'd do is find out who actually regulates the MH industry in your state.

Good Point. I will first find this out.

Hey, anyone can explain to me what are the steps when wholesaling mobile homes. I totally understand that it is treated like a vehicle but I need to get an idea how to wholesale these. I know someone in North Carolina that needs to sell her 3 bed 2 bath mobile home, but I don't have a clue how to handle these. And would LOVE to help her.  Thanks
