I can make a 4 hour video just talking about how bad do you actually want it. That's the thing. Don't put this on a pedestal of some magical unicorn that happens to a select few people. What snapped me out of overthinking is just saying I'm smarter and tired of all these stupid people making money in real estate lol I know that sounds harsh at first but when I was a barista I just got mad one day and said screw it no more waiting. Just get it done.

That’s my exact line of thinking. If someone can do it, so can I!

@Kevin Bazazzadeh, thank you for that. I think my biggest strengths going in are:

1. I’m a people person who uses EQ to connect with people on a deeper level. Many of my counseling skills directly translate into the buying and selling aspect.

2. I’m a problem solver.

3. I’m incredibly patient.

4. I take joy in the grind.

Thanks @Amber Forkey for your insight! I will definitely be implementing those into my strategies. Ah yes, the preverbal problem solver, a hat a wear almost daily. It will be great to branch out and create my own business, as I have the internal yearning to do so, but have been stuck in the "what kind of business" mindset. I truly appreciate your reply and I am open to anything else you'd like to share.

Hey, all! My name is Larry and I'm a mental health counselor. I'm looking to get into wholesaling as a supplement to my income and depending on my success, go into it fully time. I'm currently in the knowledge gathering phase. I'm looking to make connections, meet new people, and have fun!

Hello all, my name is Larry and I am getting into real estate at the ripe old age of 28. I am finishing up a PhD in Counselor Education and just had my first child in January. I am currently an index fund investor but am looking into diversifying into real estate. My current idea is to do the BRRRR method. Action items: I am currently saving money, doing more research, and attempting to connect with other like-minded individuals.

For those of you in the Houston area (Katy, Woodlands, Houston proper, Pasadena, etc.), is anyone interested in connecting? Possibly passing on some guidance from a newbie attempting to enter into a huge market? Thanks in advance! I look forward to making new connections and learning more.

I am currently reading David Greene's book on BRRRR investing!
