thanks for the reply. The process seems exhausting and lengthy. It's been almost 2 months in your case. No rent coming in and yet loan has to be paid off, if there is any. This is why I guess screening tenants is so important. Anyways, let's hope for the best. I'm still battling between the ideas of buying an expensive multifamily vs buying foreclosure homes, fix them up and put them on rent. This is a different topic. I wish I could get guidance. I've been reading some books as well. Just don't know where to start.

hello,

I live near Baltimore and just starting my career in real estate. I'm looking for multi family homes and foreclosure homes but I wants to ask that if I'm managing my own property, how troublesome is eviction process? Do I have to go to Sheriff's office to start the process or do I call a special department? And if I am using a property management company, how will they handle it?
