I guess I just wanted to make myself marketable is what I should have said. Like how can I make myself more appealing to investors with little cash and not end up just generating leads for someone else.

I am new to real estate and still doing my homework. What are some things I should consider before seeking a mentor or while seeking a mentor? Are there certain things I should bring to the table? Also what are some suggested reading materials on marketing and branding yourself? I always want to come off as professional but also much like able to do business with. I appreciate all of your feedback thank you

@Scott C my main goal is to become financially free, fit and independent. I also would like to own a few properties in the inner city to provide housing for low income families in the future. I landed my first job at 14 and now at 23 I feel like I'm ready to work for myself.....while I still have the energy!!!
