Hello BP, I’m starting my journey into real estate and I’m trying to figure out what niches might work for me. Today came across boarding houses and I thought this might be the way to go. I’m interested in having more than one door and I have been dancing around the idea of buying duplexes or quads, but I think boarding houses seem genius because it’s a single family so the loan would be easier to get and it not a large area to maintain. My questions are : 1. What is the downside to boarding houses? 2. What advantages are there? 3. What would it be like to manage? How much time and effort?
