So there are a number of virtual designers out there that can do a remote design consult. You might want to look at that. Saves a ton of money and people I have spoken with have been pretty happy.

There is one investor on here that uses a designer in Asia. They say she really knocks it out of the park and is cheap.

Have you even though of doing it yourself? You might be surprised at what you can do. We did our place and we get constant positive comments on how homey and comfortable it is.

We weren't going for anything high fashion or anything like that as we cater to families and groups of folks riding the bike trails.

I am interested in remote consulting with potentially a design board so that I just source all the furniture and decor.

You have an excellent point on trying to design the space on my own. I fall within my targeted market, so I should be able to figure out what the people want (as I am the people lol).

I have ideas on the space but I wanted someone with experience to validate my plan. Maybe I should just go for it.

Hey Michael! Yes, this is my primary residence and it is my first and only house. I am working on getting an STR license in Denver which should take about 2 weeks tops. Thank you for the info!
