Hey all! Are there any wholesalers (Foreclosure investors) in or around San Francisco that would have some time to grab coffee in the next month? I would love to pick your brain on where the market is headed and ideas I have been having for more efficient/higher success marketing strategies. (Full disclosure I am not a wholesaler but have been learning about the process for the last 3-6 months). Would love to get connected and start the conversation!

Hey all - I am currently in the education and analysis stage working towards securing my first deal. I am located in San Francisco and wanted to reach out to the community to see if there are any experienced investors in the area that are working on a deal and would be up for a shadow (or potential minority partner) on a deal they are starting to work on? I would love to see the deal from start to finish to gain ultimate exposure but won't turn down any opportunity to learn and help.

A bit about me: I am a young professional working in Financial Due Diligence of financial service companies with a focused on specialty finance. I am a CPA and believe I be helpful to anyone or team with my accounting knowledge and analysis skills. In my free time my wife and I love checking out new restaurants in the city, cooking, and hiking!

Reach out if you are interested in taking on a shadow who will prove to be very helpful throughout the process.

Thanks @Jay Orlauski for reaching out. I already love the culture BP seems to represent - people who continuously strive for improvements and ultimately greatness. That's what its all about and I definitely want to surround myself with more winners, not people getting caught up in fancy corporate titles.

I would love to leverage your knowledge of the Fresno market. If you're ever out in the Bay - reach out and let's grab coffee. I'll do the same when I get out to Fresno.

Thanks @Greg Hamer! I've looked a bit in Clovis but knowing this will have me beef up my search in the area.

@Henry Perez thanks for the mention and reaching out. Agreed, it's reassuring to hear other investors are looking at the same markets.

I can only imagine the headache the SF apartment complex gave you and your wife. Are you planning to 1031 exchange the SF property you recently sold? Would love to hear your plans on executing the next two large multi purchases you have in the pipeline. Regardless, that is extremely exciting for you guys!

Thanks for the wishes. I would love to stay in touch and compare info on the Sacramento/central valley market!

Thanks for all the information, @Dmitriy Fomichenko

@Rosy Bruno I've been seeing some of the plans for Fresno in the news, and agree - you're onto something. I was not aware of the BART being extended out to Fresno that would be a game changer.

I am actually not looking in San Francisco at all. I think the RE is way overvalued in general in this area and the returns are near non-existent from what I have been looking at. Definitely new to the game so not saying they aren't out there, I just haven't come across. I am actually looking into pockets of Sacramento and areas outside of Sac, in addition to Fresno and Stockton. Eventually, I would like to get out of state but I  believe for the first couple it's best to stay somewhere fairly closer to increase the learning experience!

Thanks @Rosy Bruno - completely agreed, would love to knowledge share as we both progress.

So far, my favorite book has to be "What every real estate investor needs to know about Cash Flow and 36 other key financial measures". I think it hits home to me as I am trained to be a numbers guy and believe numbers tell a story but have no formal education on RE financial metrics. I also love @Brandon Turner's "The book on RE investing with little or no money down". Cashflow quadrant is also a good pump up/motivational favorite. How about yours?

I agree - Fresno looks like an enticing market. I've been starting to look a bit there myself. Are you sticking to CA given you have a strong knowledge base growing up here?

Hey all! Though I have been listening to the podcast for nearly half a year this is my first contribution to the site. I am a CPA working in Financial Due Diligence at one of the Big 4 accounting firms. After working my butt off for nearly 5 years and not building any real assets, I've decided to start to take action and fix that problem. Currently on the hunt for my first duplex-4-plex to execute a house hack, but also would love to find people in the area to grab coffee with and connect! Reach out - say hello and let's put our heads together to create value.
