@Bob Reinhard Adding that to my list of things to do! Much appreciated!

Hello all, my name is Kyle, I am looking to undergo my first house hack and would love some feedback! I am looking to get an FHA loan for a property in the Hamden area that I can house hack and eventually turn into a rental. I am considering student housing for Quinnipiac and was wondering if anyone has gone through this process. I am going through the lending process now, and looking to get pre-approved. Would love to hear any feedback or advice!

Looking forward to networking with everybody and helping when I can!

Hello Bigger Pockets community, my name is Kyle, I am 22, and completely new to Realestate. I recently came across the "house hacking" idea which led me to a very deep dive. I eventually came across BiggerPockets and really fell in love with this interface.

I am 22, I have about 14k in debt the majority being student loans (no degree) and am currently in a rental for the next 6 months. As I stated before I work in the family landscape business and am looking to branch out to get other streams of income so that I can set myself up in the best position for the future. However, I am currently paid under the table which makes it extremely difficult to obtain any type of mortgage. I have thought about asking for a W2 or a 1099 but I feel I will take a big pay cut if I do. I feel like I am at a standstill and unsure of the correct path to pursue.

Appreciate you all taking the time to read this! Thank you!
