Investment Info:

Single-family residence fix & flip investment.

Purchase price: $360,000
Cash invested: $62,000
Sale price: $675,000

This one exceeded our expectations and had a ton of fun on the design. BTW, we had it listed for $475k and it got into a bidding war with the final sale price at $675k.

Thanks @Eddy Udry, @Jonna Weber, @Wayne Brooks, @Anna Strausbaugh and @Jim Paulson for replying! I think we have what we need at this point and will follow-up as things progress.

Hi BP,

Looking to make contact with some local Boise, ID agents that have previous experience with 1031 exchanges. My in-laws are visiting Boise at the end of the month from Eugene where they have ~12 units. They would like to meet a few agents that have experience working with investors as they will be considering relocating to Boise and moving their capital out of Eugene and into the Boise market. Please reach out!

Thanks!

Kyle

Hi BP Community,

Kyle from San Diego here. Just wanted to reach out as a new BP member and new to the REI business. I currently do Business Dev and Operations for a local San Diego company but have always been interested in getting into RE. I moved to San Diego from PA in 2009. Since being here, I was fortunate enough to be part of a startup where I got in at the ground floor and had a successful exit in 2013. This past weekend I attended the FortuneBuilders 3 day seminar. It really opened my eyes to the opportunity to build long-term wealth with rentals and to fund the rental acquisitions by wholesaling and rehabbing. I decided not to move forward with their Mastery program.

I'm interested in meeting and learning from people local to San Diego. I'd love to see first hand your system and process for flipping houses. I would like to point out that I feel I have a leg-up on most beginner REIs. In my close network of friends here in San Diego, are many high net-worth individuals who would absolutely be interested in investing. In addition to (essentially unlimited) capital, my better half is well connected in construction management, property management and material/supplies.

My goal is to do 2 rehabs and acquire 2 rentals next year. I look forward to meeting the BP community!
