Ankit, our firm represents two of the Nation's largest rental home funds for acquisitions and due to their scope and volume, we have a lot of information about where to invest based on your goals.  Like Marc said, it comes down to your investment expectations and willingness to accept risk.  More affluent areas are going to be difficult to see positive returns but the total return, cashflow, tax savings, equity build and appreciation all combine and depending upon what you are seeking, areas to buy are pretty straightforward.

Corey, would love to connect as well.  We have an acquisition fund focused on fix and flip and are sourcing properties directly but also open to wholesaler deals that actually work.  We have been around for 30 years working with some of the nationals but our internal fund is new and we are anxious to see more deals.
