Aloha Christina,

Great post!  Sounds like you have a lot of integrity for those you represent especially with the older generation.  I love the aikido analogy and I truly am a white belt in multifamily investing here in Honolulu!  I remember getting a flyer from you when we closed on a recent Nuuanu family property and look forward to learning from and poss working with you in the future.

Mahalo,

Kevin

Thank you also for the welcome @Michael Mazzella

Like I said to @Michael Borger it's great to see investors like yourselves making it work here on Oahu!

Have you guys met many other investors here in town?

Aloha,

Kevin

Thanks for the welcome @Michael Borger

Awesome to know that there are other investors that can make projects work here on Oahu! Are you finding your deals off market or through MLS?

Aloha,

Kevin

Aloha BP Community,

Hi my name is Kevin and I am relatively new to real estate investing here on Oahu. Oahu has been my home most of my life and the one thing I can say to describe this market is that it is EXPENSIVE but can be rewarding. Currently I own a small condo (personal residence) and was fortunate enough to recently complete the purchase of a 5 unit property with a couple of partners. We renovated it, refinanced it and I am now learning to property manage this property!  In addition to beginning to invest, I am an architectural contractor and recently completed the real estate licensing exam here in Hawaii.

I look forward to meeting and getting to know other investors in my area and throughout the greater BP community!

Mahalo (Thank you) in advance for all your great knowledge and advice!

Kevin
