I live in a two family in Massachusetts and my tenant is a challenge with snow removal/parking. The property has a shared driveway with a neighbor, and is T shaped and is both long and wide. I have not found any luck finding anyone who will do snow removal so far (its either the issue with the neighbors property potentially being damaged, not having the right equipment, or proposing a breathtakingly high cost) and I'm not sure it would even help. My tenant constantly has requests and commentary about the snow not being removed timely, not being removed adequately, not allowing him to maneuver his truck (which he bought after he moved in). We got a lot of snow tonight and he just messaged me saying that we "will have to switch garage bays" due to the snow. He believes that it is my liability if his vehicle gets damaged due to him not being able to adequately maneuver his truck and running into a stone wall or the garage, etc.
What would you do? I would love to resolve this amicably. Keeping in mind the laws around snow are fairly tenant friendly in Massachusetts.
Perhaps someone knows a snow removal company that will work for me (in Woburn, MA), or some way to communicate (while still being lawful) what expectations are for snow/parking.
Thanks in advance!
