Hello BP community!

My name is Krystal Sutherlin (Wakefield - I am newly married and in the middle of changing my last name) I am new to Texas. My husband and I moved to McKinney in June 2015.

I just received my Real Estate license and started working with Keller Williams. My main focus is in McKinney, as my husband and I have two current flips going on the East side. We are about to build 12 new homes over there as well. We are constantly seeking out new deals that we can work on.

I am interested in networking with people who are interested in investing in the North Collin County area in Texas. I want to expand my knowledge in real estate investing and hopefully meet my goal by holding 25 properties by the end of this year. I want to have financial freedom so that I can spend more time with my growing family. We have a 3 year old girl and a 3 month old baby boy! I can't wait to get to know more people! :)

Hi Jamie,

As @Shawn Thom said, there are very different areas in McKinney. I live in McKinney and my husband and I both invest, flip, wholesale, and build here. We focus on the East side. Even though the East side of  McKinney (East of 75) is a more sketchy area, the whole area in itself is transitioning. There a bunch of new builds and flips popping up left and right and the East side is beginning to look a lot better. In my opinion, it is smart to buy and hold over there and wait it out until it transitions even further. Our niche focus is in McKinney so I don't know much about Plano. I just received my real estate license so I am looking forward to finding even more deals. Good luck to you! Let me know if you have any question.
