@Philip Amundson I'm looking to get started around the 3rd quarter next year also, so your question is right on time!

@Nicole Heasley Beitenman your information is extremely helpful!! I've been researching FHA Loans in great detail but I did not know you can do it more than one time! I will more than likely use this strategy when I finally go live! I prefer not to break the bank on a down payment as I want to keep pool of funds to access for the repairs. My plan is to cover the bulk of the materials myself until I build solid relationships with contractors.
