It is entirely likely that you do not require this at this time. Canada is different than USA wrt limiting liability. You’re still going to need a personal guarantee for the mortgage and will end up paying significantly more to file taxes for the corporation. You’ll also be limiting the selection of lenders you have access to. Though it is certainly not all bad news by any means.
