Lately a large amount of people in my area (sw florida) have been pursuing their sales associate license. I'm assuming because foreclosure inventory has been decreasing so quickly, and i personally know a few agents that are extremely busy.

What exactly is going on with the mortgage industry? Could some originators or brokers give insight on any recent changes they're seeing?

Hello everyone, my name is Kevin and I currently live in North Port  Florida, Sarasota county.  Real estate was always a hot topic on this coast because of all the retiree's relocating, and a decent size rental market. I've been involved with remodeling investment properties and recently tried property preservation (foreclosure rehab).

Lately I have been looking into a career in loan originating.  Recently completed my 20 hrs and end of class final, and registering for state exam. With my personal involvement with the loan process and one or two friends in the field, understanding the material was fairly easy. I joined the forum to hopefully network with other people in the mortgage industry, get advice, and learn from everyone's experiences.
