Thank you @Cory Binsfield I'm going to look it up.

I'm still just reading up but like to ask these questions to more knowledgeable investors such as yourself @Joel Owens Thank you for your answer.

@Jassem A. thanks for your answer! Which reminds me, haha...

I'm interested in how everyone would invest that in real estate or businesses associated with it. Thanks BP family.

@Larry Turowski I'm totally with you in that dreaming BIG is necessary in order for us to create the appetite and motivation to achieve those things but that daydreaming can detract us from reaching our goals. I asked the question as I am new to real estate investing and am curious to hear the answers from experienced friends such as yourself. Instead of reinvesting that $1M in my regular business...I would like to diversify and try something new. Perhaps the way I phrased the "subject" of the post made it feel like one of those lotto fantasies I'm sure we all have from time to time haha.

BP Family,

I'm looking to purchase a condo in DTLA (Downtown LA) soon...but wanted to hear your thoughts before making the jump.

The unit is $1M and I only plan on living there for 5 years or less...

1. If you had $1M then what loan terms would you go with and why(5yr, 7yr, 30yr etc...)?

2. With $1M in the piggy bank much would you put down and why? (20%, 30%, 50% or more)

3. How would you use this property to add more properties to your portfolio (looking for creative financing answers :) ?

Look forward to all your answers and insights. Thanks in advance.

BP Family,

Knowing what you know now...(is that all we can ever know?) How would you invest $1M? I'm interested in hearing answers and explanations from everyone so chime in!

Hey @Joel Owens

More than specific questions I was looking to find something to listen to in the car. Since, I have your attention...

1. What areas in commercial have you found to be the most profitable? (Guess, that's bit of a loaded question haha).

2. If you have owned duplexes to apartments with 20+ units...have you found it exponentially more difficult to manage the larger complexes with many units?

3. If you had the knowledge you have now and $1M when you started...how would you have invested?

Look forward to your answers!

Thanks again.

BP Family,

I love the BP podcasts but can anyone recommend some good podcasts that focus on commercial and/or multi-family & apartments? Thanks in advance.
