Hello BP fam!

Is there a way for my non-english speaking father (Polish) to utilize the power of Bigger Pockets and its forums? Specifically he is looking for a partner to purchase an Airbnb property in Florida (nearby Walt Disney).

Background Story:

My parents purchased a few 1-2 bedroom apartments during their days and are currently waiting for a cash payout from a investor regarding a property. They would like to reinvest this into the market. His safest option is to continue with additional 1-2 bedroom apartments nearby his home in Chicago. This way he can maximize his cash flow by doing the necessary repairs and maintenance himself. I had advised him to look into partnering up with someone in Florida. His worry is that the maintenance and Airbnb communication with the clients will be tough to do alone and from cross states and I agree.

Has anyone successfully converted the original BP to a different language or has an outlet my father can look into so he can become more knowledgeable and find a partner?

@Jon Reed I have not appealed this. This happens to be in one of the stricter suburbs of Chicago therefore I do not think it would work. Seeing if I should still make a reasonable offer and convert or steer away.

Inspection Sheet <-----

Happy Monday,

The city is ordering the basement to be DECONVERTED from R-2 Multifamily to R-1 Single Family Home. If you have been through this, what is the turn around time from the city? It is 1 quick inspection?

Any horror stories while capping the old utilities?

The watermark is on some important text. It reads:

1) The basement kitchen must be completely de-converted. Return all related plumbing to source and cap.

2) Electric service must be de-converted to single family.

3) Gas service must be de-converted to single family.

4) Each of the five bedrooms (Three up two down) must have at least one egress window installed to Code for emergency escape and rescue

Thanks.
