Thanks for the reply, I am definitely spending my time short selling and wholesaling properties, the bulk reo buying and selling is something a long time friend introduced me to. I have been able to close one deal after being involved for two months.

Hello fellow real estate investors, I am a beginning investor and I am seeking to network with investors all over to learn how to be successful with real estate investing. I am currently working on doing short sales, bulk reos and wholesaling properties. This site is great for meeting like minded and similiar strategies to make excellent deals no matter what type of investing.

Thanks for creating such a good resource for a new person to feel welcome.

Great post about how to build a buyers list Todd. I know as a new investor that is one of the biggest obstacles to overcome.I really enjoy the post made by so many successful investors, it definitely gets me motivated that I can do this too. This site has so much information it is almost overwhelming.

What type of hand written do you use? I was thinking of doing the same thing to market to people in pre-forclosure as handwritten envelope and letter are more likely to get read. How many letters do you have to send to receive a response?
Could I have a sample of what has worked for you.

I like to build good relationships with investors, so when I find a deal I don't kill it by adding an high fee for the property. I usually only charge $1000-$2000 if there is enough room for the investor to get his equity requirement satisfied. That way I will have the investor more apt to look at my deals I send his way because he knows I won't try to take to much profit out of the deal.
