Detroit is different on every block. You need to deal with an entire team of trusted people that are referred by investors that know and have dealt with them. Rehab requires contractors and extreme oversight. I wouldn’t recommend that. I’ve bought two properties in Detroit and receive rental income every month. Can’t beat the numbers. I buy properties that don’t require rehab. I also DO NOT raise the rent. Respect the community. God bless.

If u have 4 tenants occupying your property, they can make you life hell. Why not just reschedule? Be considerate of another persons life. It’s Valentine’s Day. Maybe he had plans with his sweetheart.....plans that involve being naked and in love. Don’t be the type of property owner that is insensitive to the lives and needs of the people that pay you for the use of your dwelling. Don’t think that because this person is renting your property, you somehow have the right to control their life. I treat my tenants the same way I would want me and my family to be treated.
