Hi I'm kio and I am 16. I am studying and researching about RE investing. When I brought up my plan to become this my brothers, they had no faith in me and laughed about how stupid the idea of investing was. They told me it makes no sense and that the idea is the reason why I won't be successful. So I soaked it up , but unlike them I was educated in RE investing. I learned so many things like take advise from people who have been successful . That why I'm here I wanted to ask ,When should I start investing? My family is poor and I know will struggle financially if I go to college should I still consider doing it? And also what helped maybe you or a friend go through being told that you can't do it. I still care about what my brothers tell me but I can't take advise from them. But hopefully from you, thank you.

Hi I'm kio. Earlier this month I was intruduced to real estate investing by accidentally watching a bigger pockets podcast. Which I hope can change my future. I am only 16 but I am extremely interested in pursing real estate investing. When I get to the age, I want to be prepared for real estate investing. But one problem, at this age I have disadvantages. I want to find a mentor to guide me so I can be prepared. But my parents don't support me. So I have to rely on research and with the advise from experienced members I hope you can help me so I can prove to my parents and myself I can do something with this. I have only been using this website for a while but This is a helpful and respectful community, And one day I hope I can be financially free and give advise to young adults like myself And help them achieve their goals. Ps I'm not asking for a mentor, I just don't know where to look for one in my area and just looking for advise I can keep in my pocket for later. The more advise I put in my pocket the bigger pockets I will need.
