Need knowledgable RE Accountant who can help advise on California RE taxes and whether or not a FIRE investor should file jointly or seperately with a non-real estate investor husband. 

I have recently bought and furnished a larger home in the West End/ Vanderbilt area. I intended to rent as a STR, but with the recent events, thinking corp/exec now. I grew up in Nashville, but now live part-time in California and would like to find a property manager for this home and more potential income producing properties as I build my portfolio. Please let me know if you have had a good partnership both on the land lording side and from the tenant or reviews. Thanks, TennCaliGal

I live in the Bay Area too and have invested here and OOS.  I am Curious @Loan Doan What did you end up doing and has it worked for you?   

I am now reading @David Greene's book on OOS investing and they are VERY helpful in helping you if you decide to invest OOS or really anywhere for that matter!

I also would be interested, but just am now seeing this; I share time between Nashville & Nor Cal and am starting to look more into more TN investments (Nashville, preferably, if there are any deals to be had) and Northern California (even worse ;-/)  I will look for the next one and hopefully will be in town!  TCG
