@Christopher Brainard. I'm not licensed but am trying to get all my ducks in a row for a deal. Thanks for your input.

Hi all, In what form do you accept a buyer's earnest money deposit? I've heard of some investors who only accept a cashier's check and others who will take a money order for EM. If you are in the cashier's-check-only camp, do you find it a nuisance trying to lock up a deal on the weekend when it is extremely difficult for a buyer to get a cashier's check since banks are closed? Thanks for your input! Looking forward to the replies. I'm in TX if that makes a difference in the process.

Congrats! I haven't gotten my first deal yet, but definitely looking forward to it. Thanks for sharing.

Hi again and thanks so much for the warm welcome! This is an awesome place to be. I went to a RE networking event on Friday and met another new investor who had just went to a BP Houston event the night before! Looking forward to making great connections and great deals with the BP community. Much success to you all!

So I've actually been a member for a few months, but this is my first forum post! I'm getting started with investing and met another BP member a couple days ago at an investor function and he had been to a BP Meet Up the night before! I'm really digging the community feel and look forward to making connections and cash flow!
