In case anyone was wondering. Those tenants are long gone. They got their 60 day notice and left when their lease expired, I guess 6 notices and a lot of legal text can be a real eye opener, lol. They expected me to cut them a check for their security deposit when I came to pick up keys, NO WAY, I kept it ALL, I even waited till the last day to send them their notice/statement regarding their outstanding balance for damages, lol! Neighbor told me they had monkeys in the house! Unbelievable... Had to get rid of all carpet in the house, but once I finished putting in the new flooring and had it listed I had 3 good applicants within 3 days, great tenants even paid the whole year upfront at over 10% more than what previous tenants paid, rents keep going up fast! I even did a HELOC while I was doing the flooring, lol.

I didn't bother wasting my time with a lawyer. There was no need. If you read and know the law and follow it, you don't need a lawyer, unless you need more time for yourself...

No, watch some brain games so you can see how easily your brain is manipulated and its very interesting and it can get your brain working better.

Look at my other started thread regarding RE scams. Many people have contributed and explained how these guys are scammers. Look at Tom Krol's posts, he was a newbie 2 years ago, and suddenly a huge success out of nowhere.

I would call out another scammer Robert Kiyosaki! Yep, he is one of the big ones. Lots of fluff with no real proof, if anyone recommends one of his books to you, they are either an idiot or wannabe scammer.

its supposed to be just standard ultra pure white, why wouldn't white match...

I got a question. Why is Benjamin Moore, standard white not the same as Behr ? I just painted my wall with some older Benjamin Moore white with some new Behr and its a BIG difference. Its not as flat looking as the Benjamin Moore and its a lot whiter. I painted other walls with what I had left of the BM and its the same color still, so is not like the walls are dirty or got darker... Sucks that I would have to go over the entire wall instead of just half...

Hi Guys, my uncle did a reno on a property. For some reason he decided to do 2 things that were not on the plans.

1. Put down too much concrete on the driveway/walkway up to the house, (supposed to be a ribbon driveway).

2. Built his rear deck 3x the size of original plans.

His first violation was in 2010, he paid the $1500 out of the $3000 fine and left it as is.

He just got his second violation for $10,000, half of which is payable now and the rest suspended if he complies.

Can he get permits for the work now and not have to break up his driveway and cut up his deck?

Page 7 says something about him having to sign something and notarizing it, is he supposed to file that with the property records himself at the City Register? Now? Before or After work is done?

He is/was going through a divorce, I'm not sure if its all done, I rather not get too deep into that topic with him, would be nice for me to be able to help him out a little at this time...

Look, honestly I don't really care. There are scams everywhere. I pretty much see everything as a scam. Its just some may be more moral than others. I see retail as a scam, the retailer spent half of what they are selling those goods to you for. Oil, gold, diamonds, wood and other natural resources were stolen from the earth and sold for lots of money. When did god give them the right to own it all? Insurance, taxes, bad lawyers, this and that, I can go on forever. These are just bad scams to rip people off completely. But like I said I really don't care, do your own research, I likely will not spend more time coming back to argue my case as it is not worth my time.

All it takes is a few minutes with google. And maybe a couple episodes of Brain Games to get your brain working.

It would have been nice if I wrote you an entire article and spent hours to share all that info with you with links and maybe an investigation, but seriously, that's just spoon feeding and a waste of time for me. I honestly don't have a lot of time and I don't share too much info. But I do not like scammers and fraudsters, and I'd point them out when I can.
