@Kelly Conrad

that's I do not know !

I do not use native phone number. One of the GVs is my primary number which is linked and ring. By doing it, any smartphone can be my phone with a few simple setup steps.  On top of, I can promote any of my GV numbers to be primary. Have a lot of fun to prank co-workers !

@Kelly Conrad

Phone wont ring on unlinked GV number. Will get VM notification. You can call out on GV with Hangout.

go to voice.google.com/settings

Under "Linked Numbers"  hit the "X"

I have 4 GV numbers on my phone.

@Janet Voss

Thank you so much for pointing it out ! I have used "reply" but did not pay attention to the "following".

I am lurking in the forum and finding a lot of interesting topics. Is there a way to bookmark them for future preference ? Thank you for your guidance !!!!

I keep my eyes on the tenants by turning the neighbors into spies for me.

I make friend to one or two neighbors few doors from the rentals. Leave them my number and encourage them to contact for any disturbing behaviors from the tenants. Always says to my "spies" " tenants come and go, neighbors are long term residents".

On Thanksgiving, I send each of them a pair of Poinsettia plants ( $.99 Black Friday Sale from HD/Lowes) with a card & my number to "thank" them.

2 x $.99 buys me a pair of eyes on my rental !!!!

FYI: if the leak is from the HW itself - not from the piping or fittings - there is no fix but a whole HW replacement.  Just a head up to prepare your budget !!!

The house is "under" a timer bomb, since the pipe is in the attic.  When it busts, and it will bust. You are looking at replacement for: attic, insulation, flooring, and anything in the between.

Do turn off water at the main cut off, and turn on one faucet on to relieve the pressure.

Get those pipe replaced ASAP.

@Tom Qiu

@Tom Qiu@Dan Mahoney

I read somewhere that the county would also send a copy of the new tax deed and/or deed changed notification to all the parties (HO, mortgagees, lien holders...) after new deed filed (within 30 days after sale)

I got phone calls from those parties 3-6 weeks after the sale. I haven't initiated any contact.
