@Kien Nguyen let me address your questions..........

1, no commercial zoning required.

2, Lease with any employees over 18 and owner of the business

3, Background and credit check everyone on the lease; business owner and employees over 18.

If they do not qualify, deny them. Just because they are a business don't think they are special! All the best!

100% my thoughts too.
Like Bjorn said. Have all the occupants on the lease plus the business owner. The Business owner is also guaranteeing that the rent is paid.

appreciate the input. Thank you.

Thank you. I really appreciate your guidance. This helps a lot.

Evening everyone,

I want to rent my home out to a local small business who requires employee housing. I had a few questions:

1) I assume I don't need commercial zoning because I'm not renting specifically for the operation of the business? I'm renting to the employees?

2) Should I put the lease between me and the small business itself, the owner of the business, or the employees?

3) should I do a background check on the employees? The owners?

Thank you everyone for the time. I really appreciate any guidance.

Thank you for the great advice everyone. I really appreciate it.

Hi everyone,

I apologize if this is a stupid/silly/redundant question (pretty big newbie) but any thoughts on investing in Florissant as an out of state investor? Just looking for positive cash-flow but some appreciation would be nice. It seems like this area does not appreciated well? If it is a good are, are there any specific area of Florissant I should be aiming for? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
