Hello everyone,
I am 27 yo, currently working in corporate accounting at Charles Schwab in Denver, CO, but very interested in real estate as my considered long term career and investment strategy.
My main strategy now is focusing on residential real estate (single family, multi family), and later commerical real estate once I have good experience. Regarding my experience, I & my parent bought our primary residence house in 2017 (currently monthly mortgage payment $1.6K, my gross salary $4.6K), and I have rent out 2 rooms to tenants, earning roughly $1.3K from rental income .
We just bought 2 pieces of land next to each other (1 corner lot) in Kansas City, KS (15 mins to downtown Kansas City). We plan to build a house on 1 land first, we kinda have a floor plan design idea already. Once finished construction, we plan to rent out rooms in basement to tenants. Our main concern is to figure out the estimated cost, adjusting our floor plan as needed, and how to get capital/loans for funding the construction. I would love to discuss more in details with anyone who has experience.
In addition generally, I would love to learn and seek advice about real estate investing, buy-fix-flip, buy-fix-hold for rent, wholesaling, buy land and build, etc. I am looking forward to connecting with everyone (RE developers, investors, contractors/builders, mortgage lenders, hard money lenders, realtors, etc.).
I hope to make this my future career and would love to establish long term relationships, thank you so much for reading my posts!
